Fathers Eric and Damian wander through answering machine bits, DJ-Damian's homemade radio station, and the strange genius of dial-tone melodies before landing on something deeper: what it actually means to listen, to be present, and to let conversation be its own kind of prayer. Proof that the best conversations don't need a topic — just two people willing to stay on the line.

    Spoiler: joining the Jesuits is not like applying for a job. In this listener-requested episode, Fr. Damian and Fr. Eric walk through the whole formation journey, from muggy move-in days at the novitiate to lying prostrate at ordination, with plenty of honesty about the hard parts, the funny parts, and the parts where God just kept showing up anyway.
