We’re Kind Of Bored And The New Perspective On Paul (Part 2)
Cody and Richie talk briefly about how the day to day grind has left them feeling a little frustrated. They follow that up with a deep dive into the new perspective on Paul. This one gets a little technical but we hope it gives listeners a desire to dive deeper into the biblical text as well as Jewish sources from Paul’s day and the early church. This is part 2 of the episode.

What Living With Cody And Richie Was Like And How Sports (And Other Things) Becomes Idolatry
On this episode of the U21 podcast we have a special guest! Our old college roommate Kevin Stox stopped by to talk about what it was like living with us for two years and what’s going on in his life. We also talked about how easy it is for sports, friends, family, etc. to become idols in our life without us realizing it.

Why We Love Comics, The Relevance Of Black Panther, And Why People Desire Stories
Richie starts off this episode by telling Cody a dream he had about him as well as a joke that no one will laugh at. Then we get into our favorite superheroes and why we love comics followed by a conversation about what the Black Panther film has to say to all of us. We end by looking at the human desire for fairy tales and how God’s story of redemption is the greatest of all narratives.

Thanks for sharing!
I also struggle with anxiety. After the first year at Welch, I knew music was not my path because of my huge fear of being judged. I seriously struggled just singing or playing piano in front of the teachers during juries because of this. I could do it just fine in my practice sessions but as soon as I got in front of people, I froze or got light headed and went blank. But, it’s what I thought everyone wanted for me and I had to impress them. So, I came back and each year until I quit in my second senior year because I got so far away from myself and had extreme depression. I finally realized that going down this path and putting on a front was not healthy for me. It was scary not knowing what I was going to do, but I felt relief and I could breathe again. I re-evaluated my life and relationships with God and other people and noticed I was putting too much pressure on myself to do what was expected of me.
