Umar Idris

Umar Ibn Idris was born in sokoto-South L/G of Sokoto State, Nigeria. He completed primary and secondary school in Sokoto,Nigeria. Umar Idris graduated in MBBS {Degree in Medicine & Surgery} from Usmanu Danfodiyo University Sokoto (UDUS). He is currently a resident doctor in Surgery at Usmanu Danfodiyo University Teaching Hospital, Sokoto (UDUTH). He memorized the whole Quran since when he was in secondary school under the Islamic school known as SAFI. He later move to a well known Islamic scholar in Nigeria and International judge in Quranic recitation competition, also an ALUMNI of Islamic University of Madinah, DR. Muhammad Sani Abdullahi Jos. Here he perfected his recitation and continues to seek knowledge in Qiraat, tafseer and other Islamic books.
