In this episode of the un Podcast Sarah Werkmeister speaks to Saskia Doherty, a Melbourne-based artist whose multi-layered and multi-disciplinary practice examines language, geology and entropy.

Doherty is an artist and writer based in Narrm Melbourne. Her practice examines and aims to unpack structures that turn memory into static form: etymology, photographs, fossils, institutions. Saskia has exhibited in Australia and overseas since graduating with a BFA (Hons) from Monash University in 2013.

In this episode of the un Podcast, Sarah Werkmeister speaks to Steven Rhall, a Melbourne-based artist whose interdisciplinary practice delves into cultural semiotics in the Australian context, the post-colonial narratives of space, and into the blurring of lines in what is not only seen as cultural per se, but in what has been relegated to the non-cultural, and how that kind of culture can pervade our interactions with the environment around us.
