#88 Face It Till You Make It: What Happens When You Stop Avoiding Yourself?

What happens when you stop distracting yourself long enough to actually look at your life? In today's episode, I'm sitting down with my friend Matt for an honest conversation about healing, boredom, alcohol, work, belonging, purpose, and what happens when you finally start facing the parts of yourself—and your life—you've been avoiding. We talk about what it feels like to realize you're unfulfilled in a life that looks perfectly fine from the outside, the discomfort of being bored without immediately reaching for a distraction, and why sometimes the questions we're avoiding are exactly the ones we need to be asking. We get into: ✨ What boredom can teach us about ourselves  ✨ Navigating work, money, and feeling stuck  ✨ Our relationships with alcohol, coping, and distraction  ✨ Belonging, identity, and the people we surround ourselves with  ✨ The weight of other people's opinions  ✨ Therapy, self-talk, and getting honest with yourself  ✨ Rethinking what it means to find your "purpose" This isn't a conversation about having life figured out. It's about being willing to get honest enough with yourself to ask better questions and trusting what comes up when you finally do. I hope this conversation gives you permission to get a little bored, get a little uncomfortable, and maybe face something you've been avoiding. 🤍 Thank you for being here 🩵 Sending you so much love!!  If this episode resonated with you, I'd love to hear from you! #87 When Your Life No Longer Fits: How to Trust Yourself Into the Unknown

What do you do when the life you've built no longer feels like it fits? In today's episode, I'm sharing something deeply personal...  Over the past few months, I found myself questioning everything - my work, my relationships, my mental health, and the life I had been living. I realized I had been trying to squeeze the life I wanted into a life that no longer fit. I couldn't shake the feeling that something needed to change... and quickly. This conversation isn't about having all the answers. It's about what it looks like to stop forcing an old life to work... and trust yourself enough to begin creating one that feels aligned. In this episode, we'll explore: ✨ Why giving yourself permission to want something different changes everything ✨ How self-trust is built through small, honest observations and decisions ✨ Creating safety in your body when everything feels uncertain ✨ Why you don't have to navigate big life transitions alone ✨ The importance of allowing yourself to feel difficult emotions instead of resisting them ✨ Why clarity often comes after taking action - not before If you've been feeling like you've outgrown your life, I hope this episode reminds you that you don't need to have everything figured out before taking the first step. Sometimes the bravest thing you can do is trust yourself enough to begin. Thank you for spending this time with me. It truly means more than you know. 🩵 If this episode resonated with you, I'd love to hear from you! Share it with someone who might need it, or come say hi over on social media. Just press play, follow my pace, and let the music hold you. 🌀 What to expect: Simple, natural three-part breath Light cues when we shift the pace Indie song with lyrics to vibe with A safe space to breathe and let go 0:00 - intro 2:28 - breathwork 5:59 - outro  If you enjoyed this, I’d love it if you’d like, comment, and subscribe - it helps me keep creating these tiny pockets of calm for you. ✨ Breathe easy, and let me know how you feel in the comments below. 84. Train Your Nervous System: Guided Breath Holds for Inner Strength

Welcome to this guided breathwork practice🫶🏽 where we’re not just holding our breath, we’re learning how to hold life’s discomfort with more calm and trust. The other day, I was talking to someone who told me how breath holds really help him when he’s out spearfishing - it was such an unexpected reminder that this simple practice can make us feel more steady in all kinds of situations. It got me thinking... these moments of sitting with that “I need to breathe” feeling are actually powerful training for real life, too. When we practice staying with discomfort in our body - safely and gently - we’re teaching our nervous system that it can handle the hard stuff. It’s not about forcing or pushing. It’s about expanding the space inside you to stay steady when things feel uncomfortable. So, take these next few minutes for yourself. Find a cozy seat or lie down. I’ll guide you through simple breath holds that help you build more inner strength, more resilience, and more trust in yourself. ✨ What you’ll recieve: ~ Learn how to stay calm when your body says, “this is hard” or "I can't" ~ Build real resilience - not just in your lungs, but in your life ~ Expand what you’re capable of holding, feeling, and moving through ~ You’re always in charge. If it ever feels like too much, just breathe. 💙 If this practice supports you, let me know in the comments and share it with someone who needs a reminder that they can handle more than they think. 0:00 - intro 2:19 - breathwork 10:42 - outro  I am a certified Flow Breathwork Facilitator, podcaster + inner work & healing guide who blends psychology, spirituality, somatics, and mindset to support you in releasing the trauma and emotions holding you back from living the life of your dreams. 81. Healing friendship wounds & attracting REAL connection: Guided Breathwork

Hi🫶🏽  In this breathwork practice, we’ll move through the pain of past friendship wounds and open your heart to the kind of loyal, soul-connected relationships you deserve. I created this from a very personal place, with past friendships that made me question “Why am I not the one being protected? Chosen? Defended?” That experience shook my trust, and to be honest, i wondered if i would ever have friendships that “stand on business" for me in any room. I wondered if real loyalty even existed…you know, the kind where friends don’t just stay neutral or quiet when it matters. But today… I have friendships that feel safe. Friends who mention my name in rooms I'm not in. Who see me. Who choose me.   It didn’t just happen. I had to do the work. I had to heal. I had to let go of what wasn’t aligned, and start calling in what was. What to expect in this practice:  ✨ Release betrayal, disappointment, or grief from past friendships  ✨ Affirm your worth + the kind of friendship you want to attract  ✨ Visualize loyal, joyful, soul-aligned friendship in your life  ✨ End with deep grounding + an open heart Let’s release the pain of being overlooked or hurt.  & let’s breathe in love, belonging, and soul-level connection.  You deserve that. You always have. 💗 Let me know how this practice feels for you in the comments 🤗 I am a certified Flow Breathwork Facilitator, podcaster + inner work & healing guide who blends psychology, spirituality, somatics, and mindset to support you in releasing the trauma and emotions holding you back from living the life of your dreams.
