Great podcast for weird movies
This podcast is great for exploring the weirdest reaches of the movie universe.
Adolescent, a bit snarky, but at least they care
If you want to hear sentence fragments beginning with “like” , “ sort of like” “ closed to like the Twilight Zone” ad infinitum, this is your site of sites!
These are basically roundtables
on episodes of the Outer Limits.
The general pattern is to point out the primitive characters and old plot lines are a source of amusement, particularly compared to today’s
sci fi.
Picture a group of college boys deconstructing
each portion of dated Outer Limits script elements in MST 3000 style, and interminally
holding them up to ridicule as compared to what
would be possible in true physics and without any “ suspension of reality” in which almost all movies and television episodes depend!
The point is to sound cool and to critique the lack of reality moorings in this era’s writing and special effects
Great Host
Really enjoy the host of this one and his strange movie selections are the best!!!
