Unchained Voices is a podcast produced by Renegade Production on behalf of Unchained to contribute to and expand on national conversations around the criminal justice system in the UK as well as the lived experience of people who have been through the UK criminal justice system and its prisons. ​We also want to explore the power that creative writing and music has to influence culture and potentially even the choices people make, which is a key part of Lady Unchained's mission in terms of the mentoring and workshops she conducts in prisons in the UK.

    For our very first episode, our producer Ciarán O'Fathaigh interviewed the Unchained Voices host, Lady Unchained, to find out more about her origin story and ask why she embarked on her mission for Criminal Justice Reform and why she believes that creative writing and music can have such a profound impact on people's rehabilitative journeys.
