In reference to the mention in the most recent Dhers episode, I worked and ride with Jacob Honesto at a bike shop in San Francisco for multiple years. He always would sneakily let on that he was triple OG certified but this 1000% confirms it. Such a good, chill, kind hearted dude and an absolute maniac on two wheels. No matter what kind of bike it was. I can remember one time borrowing his single speed MTB he had custom built himself, over the holidays whilst he was out of town, and it literally was just a big BMX bike. Which was completely on brand for the guy. Fond memories of that guy. Don’t know where he’s at now. Don’t know what he’s doing either, but I do wish him the best. A1 human being and shredder of bikes. Also just to play off what Dhers was saying about “I thought we’d all be friends just because we all ride bikes” jogs my memory of having a sign posted in the back of the bike shop Jacob and I worked at that said: “Just because we ride bikes doesn’t mean we’re friends” and hearing Dhers bring up that story about the seat grab whip supplied me with a good laugh or two reminiscing on that sign. That being said, fantastic pod guys. As a stay at home dad to the rowdiest domestic terrorist of a 4yo, this pod keeps me sane. Keep up the good work and thank y’all for doing this.
