In Defence of Camping
We went camping with my extended family for our summer holiday. Same as we have nearly every year for the last decade.
When I tell people that our holiday is camping in an unserviced field in Dorset reactions usually range from horror to bemusement.
"Camping??? like in a tent?"
No sun beds, palm trees and unlimited Pina Coladas?
A lot of people don't consider camping a holiday - but they are wrong.
Tonight i'm going to explain why. -

A departure from the usual this week, not many laughs, instead I am talking straight from the heart about the most important things in my life. I needed a good cry and so I did it, into a podcast.

Real Men Don't Need Sat Nav
A few years ago my parked car was crashed int0, at high speed, by a car with no driver. When the recovery truck finally arrived it was driven by a real manly man who laughed at me when I suggested he use a Sat Nav to guide us back to my house.

An incredibly credible show!
A lot of people—myself included—would easily fall into the trap of thinking that a single host yammering on for an hour or so wouldn't be able to hold the interest of even the most patient listener. Well dash those prejudices on the rocks straight away because Cornelius somehow makes his stories thoroughly engaging, absolutely enthralling, and unquestioningly entertaining.
And after dutifully listening to every single episode with active attentiveness, I'm still not sure how he does it!
Uncredible Adventures takes what may be the everyday exploits for Cornelius Uncredible and spins them into tales that are anything but trite. You find yourself completely drawn into one real-world adventure after another, from the broken down road trip with the family and a tow-truck driver who refuses to believe his GPS, to the run-in with the authorities after a hazy night in the rave scene at Ibiza, to experiencing panic attacks in the dental torture chair, to the seriously heart-wrenching and heart-breaking episode of divorce, and to the simple yet utter brilliance of the traveling circus. Somehow Cornelius captures your regard and brings you along on each of these auditory journeys—all with his lovely accented dulcet voice.
I'm still not sure how I stumbled onto this podcast but I'm glad I did. And you will be too. I'm a NASA scientist! You can trust me!

The best sort of podcast to nourish your soul and take you away from the madness for a while. Cornelius feels like the old friend we’re all thankful to have, and he’s a fantastic storyteller. Keep ‘em comin’!
Wonderful
Some people have the gift of gab, and Cornelius is in that number. If I talked about going to the dentist for 45 minutes, I’d even put myself to sleep, but when he does it, I’m sad when the story’s over. This show is a gem!
