VS MODE #1: *Link Noises* (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)

VS MODE #1: *Link Noises* (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild)

Introducing Versus Mode, a new series from Sam in which he defends his spiciest gaming theses against a panel of opposing voices.
For the first episode, we're talking BoTW: Sam hates it, and he talked to some folks who didn't. We analyze what it means to be a Zelda game, the merits and pitfalls of open world, and more!

#13 Future Historical Fiction (Citizen Sleeper)

We cover Jump Over the Age's Citizen Sleeper, the breathtakingly artistic and deeply moving tale of a stowaway, a space station, and the intersection of stories.
    Note from Sam:
We talk about a lot in this episode, and that's because there's a lot to love.
I think one thing we should have talked a lot about is the writing; we took it for granted in reviewing the episode, as the x-factor that bound all of the elements of the game together. It's beautiful, and if we're sticking with the space theme, it's the vital air that animated and sustained all of the characters on Erlin's Eye.
I won't make a habit of issuing errata for our episodes, but I felt it bore mentioning.

Awesome podcast for longtime gamers and newbies alike

As someone who doesn’t play video games that much I wasn’t sure if this podcast was going to be too in the weeds for me but I found the hosts to be funny, entertaining and funny the content relatable enough to keep me engaged. I love that they find and review indie creators and take the time to research everything from the music to the artists to the story behind each game. I would highly recommend this podcast to anyone who has an interest in video games as an art form and to simply learn more about lesser known games.
