Undercommon Taste
A TTRPG Homebrew and Worldbuilding podcast, with a blend of D&D 5e homebrew content and interviews with independent TTRPG creators. This is where we stir the pot and lick the spoon.
Great but just one thing

I really enjoy this podcast, the only thing I don’t like isn’t really them, it’s that DND beyond, which I play on, doesn’t support home brew classes, only subclasses. I enjoy the Dragoon class and would like to use it.
Highly recommended, especially for DMs

I find Undercommon Taste to be one of the best D&D discussions in the podcasting. Content-rich episodes that stay focused on the particular topic, leading to interesting and useful discourses on D&D. While predominantly covering 5e, the hosts also bring an extensive knowledge of past editions (most often 3rd Ed) to the table, which provides the listener with insightful context. Highly recommend for DMs. I get a lot of great ideas for my games from this show, especially better ways to implement mechanics. Worth adding to your queue.
Go for the Planes, stay for the homebrew

I really started to enjoy this podcast once they started talking about the planes, because they always have great adventure hooks and discussions on how to homebrew monsters native to those planes. Now whenever a new episode is released I tend to listen that day. Also the opening song is just spectacular. Ian and James just have pleasant voices.
Great Resource for GMs

These guys do a terrific job exploring and explaining the various elements of the Dungeons & Dragons universe. But for me, the most useful parts are when the spin off on tangents talking about homebrew content and adventure/campaign ideas. If you feel your GMing is becoming a little stale or want to try something new, then this is the podcast to listen to.
