Underwhelmed is a weekly podcast designed to entertain and help the everyday, mildly inappropriate, semi-successful adult live their best life. Each week the extremely relatable and unapologetically basic aspiring, aspiring comedian, Christie Wheeler, teams up with a different guest cohost to discuss one of life’s many underwhelming (or overwhelming) experiences, dillemas, or questions.
The mission is simple- to provide a safe space to vent, joke, and laugh about first world problems, while attempting to help listeners avoid the same disenchantment by sharing the relevant tips and tricks they have up their sleeves.

North vs. South
They may not have always been southern belles, but these days you would be hard pressed to find someone that would describe either Christie or Alex as anything but that. Both ladies originated in the Northeast, but are now embracing that southern living (Christie in Richmond, VA and Alex in Nashville, TN). Since moving to their respective southern cities, Christie and Alex have both noticed some interesting differences in what they see and experience on a daily basis, and they sit down to discuss those observations on this week's episode!

Great podcast covering topics relevant to my life
The wedding episode is by far my favorite. Every bride should listen to it before planning her wedding. Alex’s voice is very soothing.
Cheerfully addicting
With such a variety of topics I didn’t know where to start. Finally I settled on starting with Episode one and binge listening on my way to work everyday. The bubbly and quirky voices from Christie and all her co hosts are a delight to listen to. Super fun show.

These girls are really fun. I picture them hanging out sipping frosés on the couch. And I want them to know that’s what I’m doing when I listen to their podcast.
