Dr hab. Emilia Kledzik jest finalistką X edycji konkursu o Nagrodę im. Prof. Tadeusza Kotarbińskiego. Pracuje na Wydziale Filologii Polskiej i Klasycznej Uniwersytetu im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu. "Humanistyka w dobie dezinformacji", to prelekcja poświęcona dezinformacji w literaturze i szerzej w naukach humanistycznych. Została wygłoszona jako wystąpienie główne podczas spotkania Kolegium Refleksji Humanistycznej. Wydarzenie odbyło się 29 listopada w Łodzi, gromadziło finalistów i kapitułę Nagrody im. Prof. Tadeusza Kotarbińskiego. "(...) Literatura stanowi, w moim przekonaniu, doskonały materiał do nauki krytycznego czytania. Żeby umieścić ją w tej roli trzeba wykonać jednak metodologiczny zwrot i przede wszystkim porzucić dawną poststrukturalistyczną wykładnię (...) Potrzebujemy powrotu autora, jego głosu rozumianego jako wypowiedzi humanisty o otaczającym świecie. Potrzebujemy powrotu rzeczywistości w świecie przedstawionym, która nie będzie tylko kwestią interpretacji, a umiejętnością czytania kontekstowego, w splocie różnych dyskursów. I wreszcie, to powiem za Ryszardem Koziołkiem, potrzebujemy "agonu" w którym będziemy mogli uważnie monitorować wpływ literatury na dawne i przede wszystkim współczesne życie społeczne i polityczne. Może się okazać, że literatura bywała źródłem tego, co dziś nazywamy dezinformacją. Jeśli uda nam się to udowodnić, to tym lepiej dla literatury i naszej umiejętności jej krytycznej lektury."

Prof. Leona Toker is Emerita professor at the English Department of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel and is literary scholar, who is interested in literary history. Born and raised in Vilnius, having finished her Masters’ degree, together with her family she made aliya (immigrated) to Israel, where she became a PhD student and later received her employment at the Hebrew University. The conversation revolves the questions of academic career and emigration – how these two match, how an immigrant finds a job in the new country. Another aspect of discussion is the antisemitism experience by Soviet Jews at the hands of the government and the ways in which it could be attempted to deal with. Finally, the topic of the functioning of the academia, its job distribution is brought under scrutiny. The conversation revolves around the questions of motivation and interest in history, but also the way that academic society functions in Turkey in comparison with the United States and Germany.
