If you’ve never taken the time to ponder the complexity and fluidity of cross border migration, the richness and depth of life south of the Rio Grande, and why anyone would “end up” there, you’re missing out on a portal into an often misunderstood yet intricately alluring world of beautiful people.

A very interesting, introspective series

As a Latina born and raised in the US, it has been extraordinarily insightful learning how different other people’s experiences can be. This podcast has revealed aspects I’ve never considered before in people’s journeys, particularly with identity. This feels like an important podcast to listen to, especially when so many people seem to treat the topic of immigration as cut and dry.

Important viewpoints

As a Chicana, I feel like this podcast creates such an important and diverse perspective regarding Mexican culture. Being able to hear stories from individuals born and raised within Mexico, to individuals who have left or came back to their country truly shows how everyone’s story is different and not less valid than the other.
There is no right or wrong way to be Mexican.
