    Religion v. Kingdom Gospel of Jesus v. Gospel of the Kingdom Looking the Other Way v. Looking Out Being Offended v. Being Offensive "If you have a friend driving 80 miles an hour in a 35 on a winding road, are you going to let him miss the curve because you don't want to offend him? I mean, he's been driving for a long time, and you're just the passenger who's imposing on him for a ride." NO! If your friend is being reckless, dangerous, and about to drive off a cliff and destroy his life, you're going to say something because you care and want him (and you!) to be alive. Telling someone the truth (with love) is the highest form of respect you can offer a person. When you tell the truth, you never have to remember what you said.     Feed the Fit, Fight the Fat with Leslie Young

    You do not want to miss this episode of a woman’s journey from over 300 pounds to freedom from the health care system! Leslie Young is a wife and mother from Detroit, Michigan who previously suffered from congestive heart failure and high blood pressure as a result of an unhealthy lifestyle before she found practices that worked for her. She battled her way back to health by losing over 150 lbs. through necessary dietary changes, nutrition education, exercise, and eating fresh produce from her home garden. Leslie’s goal is to empower warrior women over 40 to destroy unwanted weight by developing healthier eating and exercise habits, by sharing nutritional information and the tools to grow one's own garden so they can live a new life free of chronic illnesses.
