Life After High School: Finding Your Place

What happens after graduation? When the school routines, clubs, sports, and built-in support systems come to an end, many young adults, and their families are left wondering, Now what? In this episode, Sarah is joined by IPUL team members Ash, Jessie, and Katelynn to have an honest conversation about transitioning from high school into adulthood. Together, they explore what it means to build a life beyond the classroom, create new friendships, find meaningful activities, and discover a place to belong in your community. Our guests share their own experiences navigating disability, college, changing life plans, loneliness, and finding connection through volunteering, the arts, libraries, community organizations, and Centers for Independent Living. Idaho SESTA Resources

Welcome to a shorter, but no less charming, installment of Bring Your Own Topic! Just Allison and Melissa today to answer two burning questions. First, when your child wakes up at night, what do you do to help keep yourself awake? Do you drink water, orange juice, or cherry coke zero? Allison and Melissa discuss what drinks help to keep you alert and alive during nighttime wake-ups, especially when helping sick kids. Melissa's questions whether it makes more sense to wear Crocs or Birkenstocks. When Allison immediately answers Melissa asks if she would tempt fate and wear them with socks. As you know there are lots of laughs and Golden Girls references.
