    Epilogue: FINAL EPISODE

This episode will summarize the general challenges people face and how this podcast and which episode of this podcast series will help to address those challenges. During the course of my life, I transformed my attitude by making an effort to listen and grasp various learnings. In the process, I assured myself that the learnings were valuable and they would work. With immense faith, I began to practice what I learned. And thankfully they worked for me. It is never too late to start anything. The day starts only when your eyes open. Are you ready to open your eyes? Please don’t take the small things for granted. Practice excellence in every little thing you do, be it rehearsing for a music performance or a dance presentation, formatting a letter, or doing spellcheck on emails before sending them. Our internal systems don’t know whether it is a rehearsal or a real event. Every small thing really matters to stand out. There is no point in achieving and accomplishing anything in life unless you know how to enjoy it. In the end, it is not about reading books, listening to discourses, and learning scriptures. Pick one mental philosophy and make that your point of focus. Live your life with a single-minded focus with that philosophy. Keep reminding yourself that a time will come when that mental philosophy will become your nature. Then pick up the next philosophy and do the same. Continue this for the rest of your life. You will discover a holistic life. Let me know how the game goes! This is the final episode and concludes this podcast series. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions @ unlockinnerpeace@gmail.com or go to this link below and submit your questions. I will create a separate episode to answer your questions. Have a remarkable and peaceful life. Remain calm and stay positive Link for QnA https://tinyurl.com/5ju37nk

PART III: Stress and Success: Chapter 18: What is Success?

Part I of this podcast series has covered a basic understanding of our mind, with an emphasis on life’s essential facts. We have now understood how to build self-belief, grow a healthier subconscious mind, develop the courage to face any situation and finally build solid self-confidence and self-esteem. Part II of this podcast series uses these foundational qualities to cultivate consistent habits. These habits are not difficult to follow but it takes a decent amount of willpower, determination, interest, discipline, and sincerity to develop a new habit. But this is entirely in our control. If you want to add a good habit to your life, you must focus on doing it daily. When you practice a habit regularly, it becomes a part of your everyday routine. The key to victory is maintaining consistency. Part III of this podcast series uses all the previous episodes' learnings and describes the habits that will alleviate stress and help you face any challenging situation. These habits will help you to look at any problem differently and will change your perspective. It also talks about the definition of success and will throw light on how to define success and be successful. This chapter will describe the meaning of success. One of the most important steps to achieving success in life is to know the meaning of success in your personal life. The true meaning of success goes far beyond the standard definitions, such as having a lot of money, having many tangibles, earning degrees, and achieving fame. The true meaning of success is different. Real success in life cannot be measured with the factors mentioned earlier, but it is viewed in terms of the people who can lead a better and more advanced life because of what you have created. That is the meaning of success. We don’t grow when things are easy. We grow when we face challenges. Success has a direct connection with action. Successful people keep moving; they make mistakes, but they don’t quit. Link for QnA https://tinyurl.com/5ju37nk Bibliography 1. https://www.success.com/ a. PART II: Consistent Habits to Cultivate: Chapter 16: Develop Gratitude

Part I of this podcast series has covered a basic understanding of our mind, with an emphasis on life’s essential facts. The key to victory is maintaining consistency. You may be without a job, have an illness, or face a difficult situation right now. When you go through difficult times, it’s hard to see the good that exists amid your troubles. But, by being more grateful for what you do have, you can increase your happiness by 25%, according to Dr. Robert Emmons, a psychology professor at the University of California, Davis. Develop a new perspective on life. Develop gratitude for life. Take stock of all that are you are left with. Put that to use, make it count. · It doesn’t matter how much you have. What really matters is what you do with what you have. · How will you ensure that you always use what you have? Count your blessings, never your troubles. · Instead of asking “Why me God, why me God for all my troubles?” say, “Why me God, Why me God, for all my blessings!” · A complaining mind is never peaceful. A grateful heart is always peaceful. Bibliography 1. https://www.virtuesforlife.com/ Gratitude in Difficult Times - Virtues For Life. https://www.virtuesforlife.com/gratitude-in-difficult-times/ 2. PART II: Consistent Habits to Cultivate: Chapter 15: Power of Meditation

Meditation is a new trend that is catching the fancy of many these days. Some of us have been fortunate enough to have learned some meditation techniques at a young age. Meditation is about thinking deeply or focusing one’s mind for a while, in silence or with the aid of chanting. It could be done for religious or spiritual purposes or as a method of relaxation. People who meditate have clearer minds and a better attitude toward the tasks they have to do even if they don’t want to do them. Practice silence for at least 15 minutes a day. Choose any meditation method that is comfortable to you. Like eating and sleeping, ‘non-doing’ has to become a part of your life. Meditation is powerful only if there is the continued practice of meditation. This is the key to deriving maximum benefits from meditation. By practicing meditation every day, your thinking and your perspective toward problems will change. You will be much calmer in your mind, and your confidence will be at the highest. Bibliography 1. PART II: Consistent Habits to Cultivate: Chapter 14: Faith and Prayer

This something that is beyond our control is what we call God or a higher force. By following certain spiritual practices, you can train your mind to be stronger and keep your humility under control. This will help you keep moving, irrespective of the outcome. When you bow, kneel and pray, you cleanse your mind and remove your ego. Typically, when you go to a temple, church, or mosque or pray at home, you should leave all your problems to the higher force and have only faith in you. We all need an anchor of faith to hold on to. Sometimes, when things go wrong, our confidence may get ruffled. We can restore confidence in ourselves only when we have the anchor of ‘faith’. Prayer is a feeling of surrender, wherein you assume that a higher power or force is standing above and beyond us. Prayer doesn’t remove our challenges. It gives us the confidence to resolve our problems or difficulties. Prayer gives inner peace and self-confidence to a person so that they can solve their problems. Bibliography 1.
