Joke is awesome!

I was new to this pod until this weekend and the first review I read was complaining about Joke’s manner of speech. I have now listened to many hours of the pod and I am very impressed with her intelligence, knowledge of the subjects in detail, and ability to ask the very questions I am thinking about. She is great, and could carry the show on her own. I am so tired of the emphasis on perfection in mass media - beauty, youth, perfect speech, wealth - it does not reflect the real world. Joke is a real person and she nails it.

It’s from CNN…sooo facts maybe fake or altered

Is Donnie not wealthy enough that he needs to drop his resume 😂 other than that it’s an old story told MANY times over. The biggest issue is it’s produced/originated by CNN and they have proved to be fungible with facts. So entertainment value only. Or another paycheck for Donnie.

Intriguing case, great interviews.

I’ve been intrigued by this case for a long time and have really appreciated the detailed interviews and reporting in each episode. I think Joke and Biaggio clearly have a great rapport. For the reviewers who commented on Joke’s accent, please, I would challenge them to speak even a *sentence* in Joke’s native language, Flemish. I would wager that most of the commenters don’t speak a second language at all. Her command of English is pretty darn impressive.
