    There was a time when the U.S. of A. was one of the foremost countries—if not THE foremost country—in the world that a great majority of other nations relied upon to tell the truth. If U.S. media said something, then it must be true and factually accurate! Totalitarian regimes and oppressive dictatorships once had to butt heads with a U.S.A. which kept insisting that freedom of speech and unrestrained access to information were all or nothing. How things have changed. Now, even Americans themselves seem to think that their own media isn't telling the truth. If Americans don't believe themselves, then should we still trust US media or not?
