UNspoiled! Sandman

SoOo I'm going to start here and go review each show as I listened to them cause this was the first one my friend told me about. The way this podcast works is one of the host has not read the series and this is the first time they are going through it while the other hosts have and they review it. It's an Awesome concept and I just LOVE it! This team of hosts tackles things usually page by page and focuses on the concepts awesomely!! What I love most about this podcast is that they are real about a fantasy issue and hold Dream accountable to everything he does. They are funny, thought provoking, and able to a balance that with the comics perspective. LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN!!!

Its one of my favorite pieces of literature and they do it right. thank you.

I loved these stories when the came out and it was nice to rediscover them. The hosts did get on my nerves a bit but I figure that they are young and its a generational thing. Everything is in superlatives and that gets a bit old fast. They also missed one of my favorite literary personifications in the Doll's House. Oh well, its nice to see this is becoming a classic work.

I was curious for a podcast about The Sandman that would be as intelligent and interesting as Rachel and Miles, and this was not it. While it’s sometimes entertaining, the host’s general basic understanding of literature and mythology gets old, and while her co-hosts sometimes help, it doesn’t always make up for a prosaic understanding. I’d actually like to hear more from Anton as he seems the most learned of the crew, and Sandman is hard to understand if you’re not (as evidenced above).
