Today’s guest is the amazing Martha Beck. I know why Oprah loved working with her! She’s back on Untangle for the second time, and her last interview was our number 1 top listened to episode…so we are thrilled to have her back. Her next book is called Beyond Anxiety: Curiosity, Creativity and Finding Your Life’s Purpose. This is the 10th book from Martha, a Phd, Harvard-trained Sociologist, World-renowned Coach and NYT bestselling author. She shares why anxiety is at an all time high, and why curiosity and creativity can be our superpowers to help reduce it. We can stop ourselves from falling into an anxiety spiral and she shows us how. She used me as a guinia pig which is always a little uncomfortable for me, but helps me shift the way I see things so that’s a good thing. I hope you get as much out of Martha’s interview as I did.

I liked that the book goes through a step by step roadmap over five weeks. It’s easy to follow. Also, she outlines why a good night sleep is so important for our mental and physical health. Sleep isn’t just a nighttime problem, she says, it’s a 24 hour problem. And a 24 hour solution. So true!

Only complaint is the ad breaks
The content and host is 5 stars. I only down the rating because the placement of the ad breaks are poorly done. The ads are placed in the middle of people speaking making the content disjointed and sometimes hard to follow.
