The devolution of local media has led to the loss of a shared perspective and common ground with people increasingly fragmented into siloed information bubbles. Local newspapers, radio shows and TV personalities used to connect the community by covering local events, personalities, and issues that brought people together across different backgrounds. We’re taking a nostalgic look back at when cultural touchstones like Walt Bodine and Paul Harvey served as voices for our community. Enjoy the memories.

“The Hunt.”  It’s a Jack Cashill co-written book which involves a father and two sons thwarting a terrorist plot while elk hunting.  But now you can help create the sequel called “Skeleton Crew” The premise is that everyone who got the COVID vaccine dies, leaving mainly the unvaccinated rural/working class population and military personnel alive.  Are these leftovers capable of re-building society?  You may have a word in how the story ends and if the good guys win.  

Welcome to America, the new Banana Republic.  Thanks to what we call banana republicans in Washington, we shudder as they fail to stand up for conservative principles and the Constitution in exchange for a comfortable lobbying job or pensions.  In the meantime…Democrats have an active agenda and the banana republicans offer no real opposition.
