Heartbreaking
Definitely one of the most respectful way to cover such a horrendous situation. I love how you handled your own emotions you can hear in your voice the times it really got you. Thank you for giving Kaylee and her family a voice and doing it respectfully.
So sad
I think it was great podcast. I binged it and was so intrigued. Very sad story. I pray no other family has to go through anything like this, but we all know there is too much evil in the world.
A difference in format
I first heard this story on Dateline. Another reviewer compared this podcast to Datelines version saying this was done with “too much fluff”. I disagree. Dateline does an incredible job with their podcasts but this one allows the listener more insight into the victims experience and allows us to hear more recording material of the interviews done with not only the victim but the perpetrator as well. The host does a very good job and is NOT monotone, which is rare. Hearing this story in two different formats allowed me to learn more and have more insight into this story. This podcast was extremely well done and I will look for more podcasts created by this host.
