    The Chinese bamboo tree takes fives yeas to grow. They have to water and fertilize the ground everyday. It doesn’t break the ground until the fifth year. But once it breaks through the ground, within five weeks, it grows 90 feet tall. But the question is, downs it grow 90 feet in five weeks or five years. You have to keep on watering your goals. Water your vision, no matter who says anything to you. You have to believe in your abilities, your ideas, your talents, your strengths. You have to believe in them unconditionally.     How have your "New Year's Resolutions" been going? Have your kept your word to yourself? Have you held yourself accountable? There is a good chance the answers to those questions are not positive. I get it. I have been there, done that. We did not mess up, we chose to be weak when it came to keeping our word to ourselves about what we wanted to do, how we wanted to improve. It is a simple choice to not be weak when we are tested, we just make it complicated in our head. Change will last if you truly want it to last. If you truly want it to last, you will leave no room for negotiation and will choose strength over weakness every single time!     THURSDAY THOUGHTS: Not donating enough money to being expelled from school to receiving the Metal of Courage, with Moin Syed - URGENCY 20

    This is a new segment of the podcast and will be different than the past 19 episodes. It is called "Thursday Thoughts." I will go through some recent news that has or is taking place and give my thoughts and opinion on it. This will be a weekly segment added to the podcast. This week's episode is on three different pieces of news: 1. Internet trolls calling out Jeff Bezos (& other wealthy celebs) of not donating enough money to the Australia fires. 2. A 15-year-old girl expelled from a Christian school for a picture in which she is wearing a rainbow sweater and has a rainbow cake at her birthday party. 3. A Texas man is awarded the Medal of Courage for stopping a mass shooting in a Texas Church and saving potentially hundreds of lives. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter if you believe in talent or not. But hard work, everything in your life is a result of that. Everything in your life is s a result of hard work or a lack there of. Life requires you put in the work. Goals require hard work. Nothing worth having comes easy.
