In this episode of the podcast, we come to you from the top of Blacktail Mountain in the beautiful Flathead Valley.  The night before the Montana 3-D event of the summer, the Mountain Archery Fest.  We chat about the shoot and also dive into some hunting myths with special guest,  Sue Miks.

Has it been one year already? Apparently, the one year mark has come and passed and we all forgot. This episode is to celebrate one year of podcasting and to catch up on some recent developments.  We talk about some legal disputes, new regulations, and new things from Red Patch Outdoors.

The tail end of rifle season was very interesting for us.  We tell a few good tales from the season then we switch gears to discuss some of the ins and outs of Late Season archery hunting.  Join us for some fun storytelling and tactics for bow hunting in the snow.

In the last episode, we chatted about how our archery season went, and now it's time to talk about our Montana General Rifle Season.  It had its up and downs and good times were had by all.  We also think this is a good time to talk a bit about mentorship.  We discuss advice for mentors and mentees.  Hopefully, there is some good information in here for everybody!

After a long wait, we finally got back to recording and we have a couple fun stories to tell.  We chat about the archery season that was and some of the things we learned.  IT was an interesting season and good times were had!

The season is finally here!!! Should archery elk opener be a national holiday? Yes it should! We have gone on a couple hunts since season opens and now is the time to start chatting about it.  We cover our archery antelope hunt and a bit about our camp set up.  Then we chat about our elk opening day strategies from the field.   We have some unwelcome podcast guests howling in the background so listen close and you can hear them!
