Nora goes the distance and covers what she was truly passionate about as a burned out gifted kid, Greek Mythology and the punishment myths. Kevin, also true to form with what he is passionate about (drama and mess), covers one of the biggest Olympic scandals to date, The Nancy Kerrigan/Tonya Harding Fiasco. Pure Insanity
I have never felt more joy than hearing the chaotic banter between Kevin and Nora. Hyperbolics aside, this podcast will keep listening in due to the well-threaded combination of the intriguing/forgotten/zanzy topics, the modern millennial antics of our two hosts, and the frequent side-tangents that themselves could have been episodes. Highly recommended
A fantastic podcast for anyone that loves factual shows
If you are a fan of shows such as Defunctland or Internet Historian, this is the show for you. Nora and Kevin are the perfect podcast pair in that their energetic personalities, good nature and genuine love for their fun facts accentuate their real-life friendship. On top of that, they always prepare a deliciously extensive amount of fun facts, recommendations, and fun reactions to whatever it is they’re speaking of. Plus, the variations of the topics always keep the episode interesting and never leave the viewer a shred of enough time to zone out, something I had trouble with on other fact-based audio shows since the topics often remained the same. Really, if you have a craving for shows that deep-dive into topics— whatever that may be, as Useless ranges from dolphins to the royal family— come and check it out! Funny, energetic, and altogether extremely well-done. Definitely looking forward to more episodes!
