    In this episode of Values Based Life, Kevin Bokelman, Vice President of Device Development at Aspen Neuroscience, shares his engineering and leadership journey, highlighting how culture, values, and people-centered leadership shape his professional experience. He holds a mechanical engineering degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, and previously spent 12 years at Hewlett-Packard, starting as a Manufacturing Engineer and advancing to an R&D Expert role. He also spent 16 years at NOVO Engineering, a contract engineering company in the medical device and biotech space, where he grew from Senior Engineer to Director of Engineering. Kevin is married with four sons (ages 13–22), has coached and mentored robotics teams and Scouts, and enjoys hands-on and active hobbies including woodworking, auto repair, rock climbing, and playing soccer.   This episode is part of a new chapter of the Values Based Life podcast, the "Mentor Series."     Howard Martin brings more than thirty years of experience in business and personal development to the position of Executive Vice President, Strategic Development. Howard's responsibilities include global alliances, marketing, and program and product development.  Howard has been instrumental in assisting Doc Childre in the development and teaching of HeartMath's programs since its inception. He speaks internationally on the HeartMath approach to advancing human performance that is based on compelling scientific research linking heart function with health, emotional well-being and intelligence. Howard is co-author with Doc Childre of The HeartMath Solution, published in 2000 by Harper San Francisco. He also developed Nightingale-Conant's tape series, "The HeartMath Method." Howard is a dynamic speaker, and has delivered hundreds of workshops and keynote addresses to audiences ranging from corporations, to the armed forces, to educators, families, and human service providers. As a key spokesperson for HeartMath, he has conducted hundreds of media interviews. His appearances include CNN Headline News, U.P.I. Faith brings clinical expertise in suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and trauma treatment, with specialized training in measurement-based care approaches. Her career spans direct clinical practice as a therapist and supervisor across diverse settings—including outpatient clinics, partial hospitalization programs, and mobile crisis response—treating children, adults, and families facing acute mental health challenges.
