    Episode 44: Double Quatro and Double Shots

    The 44th episode of Verbally Committed. The Double quarto episode (thought of that all on our own).  - Our go to coffee orders - Gilli is a coffee nut, Connor's order is that of an extremely basic white girl.  - Would you rather be a somewhat high end college basketball coach, or a coach for a mediocre, average NBA team?  - Julian Edelman retired, one of the great college quarterbacks that switched to a professional receiver stories. So who else should have changed positions after college and into the NFL? - Tim Tebow was not as bad of a pro baseball player as one would think.  - The NFL might change the numbers rule, who would we like to see go back to their original college number?  - Which NFL stars would we most want to see go back to playing baseball?

    Episode 43: The Celebrations Episode

    That UCLA/Gonzaga Final Four game was an unbelievable game. And one of the best games in March Madness history. Not only that but the celebration by Suggs sparked a debate about the best celebrations of all time.  - Where does UCLA/Gonzaga rank among the great March Madness games of all time?  - Is it better than the Laettner shot? Or Kris Jenkins?  - Does a good NBA career make Suggs' shot even better? - A breakdown of the top game winning shot celebrations - Our personal celebrations from our playing days, although admittedly it's hard to have a planned celebration in the moment. - Breaking down celebrations for different sports.  - Roy Williams retired on April fools day, and Bill Self got a life time deal. No jokes.

    With March Madness is full swing you'd expect us to focus on that right? Well that's why you tune into Verbally Committed, we zig where other podcasts zag. We break down the NCAA Mens Hockey Tournament with Chris Peters. There's literally nobody else on planet earth who knows more about collegiate hockey than Chris. So you are in really good hands this week. - We still gotta talk about March Madness and it's time to pat ourselves on the back about where we were right about the first two rounds. - It's also time to man up and admit where we were wrong.     Getting you all prepped for Conference Tournament week, one of the best weeks of the sports year. Plus a little preview of what Selection Sunday could look like.  - Which is better: Conference Tournament week? Or the first weekend of March Madness? - The answer is easy, first weekend of March Madness but Conference Tourney week has it's benefits - Gonzaga finishes the regular season undefeated, first team since 2015 Kentucky to do so. So who would win head to head? 2020 Gonzaga vs 2015 Kentucky. - How college basketball is correcting itself from the one and done era - Most intriguing conference tournaments? Which conferences pose the most interest?  - Breaking down the tournaments including best betting plays.     Episode 37: We're Back: In New Locations and With a Mustache

    We missed last week we know. But it was merely a brief hiatus, totally Connor's fault even though he moved only 4 miles and Gilli moved through like four different states. Not trying to pat anyone on the back here but whatever. It's not like we really missed all that much anyways. But we knew we had to be back this week, March Madness is sneaking up on us and we all need to get prepared. - Moving stories, Gilli in Philly, Connor down the street in the Mount Rushmore state.  - Did we really miss anything though? Seriously did much happen in college sports? - Who wore it better? "Mustache edition" Gilli sported a 'stache in like episode five, Connor does it today. Whose is better? - Trials and tribulations of living in Philly. Gilli gives us a run down on how to get alcohol in the City of Brotherly Love - Gus Malzahn at UCF? Weird right? We thought so.  - What is wrong with URI basketball, Gilli breaks down his hometown team.  - Michigan is legit, is Ohio State over ranked? The Big Ten is a DAWG - Is the Big 12 the second best conference in college basketball? - Will Duke make the tournament? Is Virginia not to be feared anymore? - Teams outside of the top 25 who can make a run in March. - Is St. Bonaventure for real out of the A10? - Our slightly later than before but still early final four predictions.
