This has become one of my top podcasts. I look forward to a new episode every week and the many outbursts I have in the car while listening to the hosts banter back and forth. My musical education and library has grown this past year because of this podcast and I am looking forward to the coming second season!

Like a great cocktail, VCV’s magic is in its simplicity. Colloquial, engaging, educated discussions that get to the meat of albums in almost every genre. I’ve been enthralled by every episode; more often for the subject matter of albums and musicians I know and love or discovering those I’ve never heard of, BUT sometimes for catching the slurring of their words late in the episode, having gleaned the answer to their most important question of the night (“what are you drinking?”) early on. It’s a music podcast for learning, reveling, questioning, and revealing, but above all, it’s what I have craved, needed, and devoured this past year: pure entertainment.
