For ten minutes, every Monday through Friday, you are invited to join host, John Lawhon, as he searches for hope and truth in the Bible. Each podcast will provide a space to listen to scripture, learn more about it and reflect and meditate on what was revealed.
Be on the lookout for bonus episodes that take a deeper dive into scripture, unpack some of the hardest questions facing the Bible, discuss culture from a biblical perspective and answer some of your questions as well!
The ultimate goal of this podcast is to become well-VERSED so that when life's trials come, we have a rock to cling to and not a river to be swept away in. Together, we will develop emotional guts and fortitude so that we are not afraid to trust God as we walk through tough situations.

So helpful because I can meditate on God in my car
It’s hard to find a podcast that walks you through meditating on God’s Word while in a car. It’s great in that it’s usually just a verse, so I can really focus on it and even try to memorize it (although I’m not good at it.) He also provides the context which is important and frames the verse for me beyond what I could have done. The best part though is the time to rest in His Word…from how slow he provides information to the music or prompt to meditate on it. God definitely draws near when we draw near. Thank you for this resource. Please keep making it.

This is a great resource to grow spiritually. I’ve been listening off and on since it came out. I really enjoy the brevity, but also the depth of truths that are mined. Very thought provoking and edifying for those looking to connect to God’s Truth in a world that is constantly trying to redefine it! Thank you Jon…please keep them coming! :)

I just finished listening to the podcast I I Just Want Peace. I love the shortness, the sweetness, John’s conversational tone, and the valuable information he imparts. I took notes, and learned a lot in a few minutes. I used the information to form a personal prayer to God and will, with God’s help, be trying to impart this knowledge by my words and actions towards others. I highly recommend Versed which really does make hope louder. Try it you will like it!!
