    AI Future-Proofing the Next Generation (Part 4)

    "The world changed. Education didn’t." In this episode, I’m digging deeper into the ideas from Part 4 of the Future-Proof Student series. We’ve spent the last few weeks calling out the resistance within the academic establishment. Today, we pivot to the solution. If we continue to grade students based on their ability to follow instructions and memorize facts, we are essentially training them to be second-rate versions of the AI tools they will eventually compete with. As a veteran, I look at this through the lens of Mission Readiness. Are we actually equipping our kids with the gear they need for the modern economic battlefield?     The VA Loophole Denying Your GI Bill Benefits

    Did you get a denial letter for your extended GI Bill benefits? You are not alone, and the reason why is peak bureaucratic nonsense. In this episode, we are diving into the aftermath of the April 2024 Supreme Court ruling in Rudisill v. McDonough. The highest court told the VA that veterans who earned both the Montgomery and Post-9/11 GI Bills are entitled to 48 months of education benefits. But instead of paying up, the VA created a ridiculous "break in service" loophole. Listen in as I break down how this absurd policy actively punishes continuous service members, why over 600,000 veterans are receiving denial letters, and what major organizations like the VFW are doing to fight back in federal court.
