    The Consequences of Defiance (DS9 S4 : E24 "The Quickening")

    We see the dire result of the Dominion making an example of a whole planet as we review "The Quickening"! When Julian goes into a wrecked planet with a genetic plague, he expects to have it all wrapped up in a week or two like every other Starfleet doctor-wizard. However, when things don't go accoring to plan, we get a deep story about arrogance, nobility in suffering, and the dread of what fate the Federation could meet.

    The Battle of Bodycount Temple (DS9 S4 : E23 "To The Death" PART TWO)

    Between the deep discussions on Jem'Hadar life and O'Brien's familiarity with the wild habits of Klingon women, your hosts finish thir discussion of every detial in "To The Death"! While Sisko tries to keep a small ship filled with murder hobos on track, Dax gets complimented for her graceful aging, Worf once again shows his character flaw is 'getting into fights in front of his boss', and Peter finds his season four contender for the weakest moment.     Dude, Where's My Pylon? (DS9 S4 : E23 "To The Death" PART 1)

    Our good friend Jeff Combs finally arrives in his most iconic Trek role in thisfirst part of our discussion on "To The Death"! We dig deep on every nuiance of this episode as we respect the discussions put on the table by the show itself, from Federation defense posture, Starfleet's increasing need to treat itself as a millitary, Sisko's place as a war leader, and of course the arrival of Weyoun.

    Revenge of the Norwood Reaper (DS9 S4 : E22 "For The Cause")

    At long last the not-at-all-suspicious Commander Eddington definitly does not betray everyone as we review "For the Cause"! While the movie start guest star manages his heist of a bunch of Big Ol' Replicators, Sisko has to deal with possibly having to put his girlfriend in jail. Meanwhile there is a B pplot no one wanted or asked for, but it has Garak in it so it it's not all bad.

    Rewrites with Empathy (DS9 - S4 : E21 "The Muse")

    In this extremely odd, very TNG, and not all bad experience, your hosts spend most of their time telling you how they would have re-written this week's episode, "The Muse"!  Our girl Lwaxana deserved better than this (perhaps she shouldn't have written it), and despite it having it's moments, there was a much better episode just waiting for them to have made. But what do we know, right?

    Return to the Free Fire PVP Zone (DS9 S4 : E20 "Shattered Mirror")

    Another season, another vacation day for the captain as we review "Shattered Mirror". We dive deep on the concepts behind the Mirror Universe, particuarly Feral Historian's video on the concept, as the Sisko's fufill some long held desires. For Jake, it's to hang out with his Kinda Evil Mom, for Ben, it's once again to commit as much violence as possible. Boy  sure hope this one has a happy ending!

    Court Ordered Space Madness (DS9 S4 : E19 "Hard Time")

    The most difficult time all of us do is wrestling with the monster we fear we could become as we review the excellent "Hard Time". When Miles gets forced to play the worst Choose Your Own Adventure of all time, he is stuck with the memory of 20 years of prison. With his MK Ultra abilities now a hindrance, the Chief gets help from all his friends to cope. In the end, is O'Brien unique or is he just the first 24th Century man to have to face the truth?

    A Very Cross Examination (DS9 S4 : E18 "Rules of Engagement")

    Never before have your two hosts had such differing opinions as we put "Rules of Engagement" on the stand! Joseph thinks it's a good attempt at making Starfleet more of a millitary organization while furthering Worf's story, while Peter hated it because he thought the 'evil plan' was too weak. Is Peter just too talented at human manipulation to enjoy it for what it is, or is Joseph too eager to make excuses for it? Listen and decide!
