The moment you've all been waiting for has arrived -- This week, our DAWGUST tournament comes to a close as we finally rank the best and the worst aspects of all the films we've reviewed thus far. Is K-9 going to shoot down the competition? Will My Magic Dog make the other dog movies disappear? Or will this be a slam dunk for Air Bud?

We have entered the 3rd round of DAWGUST - a tournament where we set out to crown the Top Dog of our VHS collection. This week, we evaluate the MAGIC DOG subgenre by reviewing My Magic Dog (1997) and Daniel and the Superdogs (2004). Which dog will have the power to face off in the final round?

The month of DAWGUST continues! This week, we look at the SPORTS DOG subgenre by reviewing such films as: Air Bud (1997), Air Bud: Golden Receiver (1998), Air Bud: World Pup (2000), Air Bud: Seventh Inning Fetch (2002), Air Bud: Spikes Back (2003), Soccer Dog: The Movie (1999), and Soccer Dog: European Cup (2004). Which dog will be the MVP?

After a month break, we are BACK! This time we are looking at not 1, not 2, not even 3, but 4 movies to kickoff the month of DAWGUST. We will be examining the "Dog Movie" VHS subgenre and the sub-subgenres within it, determining the best of canine cinema through a month-long tournament.
For part 1, we're discussing the COP DOG subgenre by ranking the following films: Turner & Hooch (1989), K-9 (1989), K-9: PI (2002), and Top Dog (1995).
