Ep.10 | The Road Less Cycled | Leah Thomas
Team USA cyclist Leah Thomas joins us to discuss the unconventional path many cyclists take to becoming professional cyclists due to not a strong presence of youth cycling. We learn about Leah's journey and talk about how to get involved in cycling. A note for today's episode that we forgot to mention, when Leah refers to "the peleton" it's NOT the stationary bike you see on tv, the peloton is what you call the group of cyclists that are riding together in a pack in a race.

Customer Reviews
100% recommend!!
I LOVE this podcast! The hosts and guests are fantastic and they talk about things that are super relevant in today’s society. As a D3 field hockey player, I definitely relate to a lot of challenges and bonuses of being a woman athlete, and I also get to learn about D1/D2 life and other cool sports that I didn’t even know existed! (I had no idea there was a professional women’s football league SO cool!)
Love this!
Informative, fun, important!
Needed Platform
The ViragoPod podcast and platform itself is such a needed outlet of information for competitive and retired womxn athletes. Emily and Taylor are so incredibly aware, informed, conscious, and understanding. As a medically retired athlete and current collegiate coach, I share this content with my athletes and former teammates on a weekly basis. Thank you for what you do for us as a community of female athletes.
