    70. Trusting God’s Timing Part 2: The Power of Surrendered Dreams

In this episode, Deb Baliko and Rebecca Pratt talk about the powerful process of trusting God with the dreams placed on our hearts. They explore what it means to surrender those dreams to His timing and how God often works in ways we don’t expect. Rebecca shares the story of laying down a dream she deeply believed in, only to later see God resurrect it in a way that was far greater than she imagined. That journey ultimately led to the founding of Orphan Relief and Rescue, demonstrating how obedience and patience can open doors to God’s bigger plan. Deb reflects on her long-held desire to serve in West Africa and how that dream unfolded in God’s perfect timing. Along the way, she experienced how God can fulfill both ministry callings and personal life goals when we trust Him with the process. Together, Deb and Rebecca discuss how to discern God’s voice through prayer, Scripture, wise counsel, and spiritual discernment. They emphasize that God often guides through a sense of peace—or the absence of it—and why it’s important not to make decisions based solely on emotion but on God’s prompting. This conversation encourages listeners to hold their dreams with open hands, trust God’s timing, and remain attentive to His leading every step of the way. How to Connect or Learn More? 69. Trusting God’s Timing Part 1: When Dreams Align with His Plan

In this episode, Rebecca Pratt shares a powerful testimony about surrendering her dreams to God’s timing. Inspired by 1 Corinthians 2:9, Rebecca recounts how her childhood dream of helping hungry children was rekindled during mission work in Mexico. As she began pursuing plans to start an adoption agency, a severe migraine setback forced her to pause and seek God’s direction. Through prayer and surrender, Rebecca laid down her plans — only to later see God fulfill that very calling in Africa, in ways she never could have imagined. This episode is a heartfelt reminder to seek God’s will, resist rushing ahead, and trust that His plans are always greater than our own. 1 Corinthians 2:9 — “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, and no mind has imagined what God has prepared for those who love Him” How to Connect or Learn More? 67. From $3,400 to Miracles: The Faith-Fueled Beginnings of Orphan Relief and Rescue

Rebecca Pratt shares the remarkable story of how Orphan Relief and Rescue began—with just $3,400 and a calling to serve children in Liberia, West Africa. Rebecca takes us back to the early days of the ministry, navigating vehicle breakdowns, cultural barriers, and overwhelming obstacles. Through every challenge, faith remained the foundation. From unexpected local support—including assistance from a former president—to the strength of relationships built on trust and prayer, Rebecca reflects on how God provided at every turn. She also recounts the miraculous survival of a young girl named Teresa, who battled cerebral malaria. In a moment that could have ended in tragedy, prayer and local intervention became part of a story that still testifies to hope and divine intervention today. Throughout the conversation, Rebecca emphasizes the power of small acts of kindness and how obedience in seemingly small steps can create lasting impact, while Deb Baliko reflects on the broader implications of kindness, community, and the role of the body of Christ in sustaining mission work. Together, they explore how collective prayer, generosity, and faith can transform lives—both locally and globally. This episode is a reminder that no act of love is too small, and when we move in faith, God multiplies the impact. 64. Freedom, Healing, and Living Water

Rebecca Pratt and Deb Baliko share the powerful story of rescuing a 17-year-old girl from slavery in West Africa. Enslaved for most of her life, the young woman was freed through Orphan Relief and Rescue and is now enrolled in a three-year sewing apprenticeship that offers skills, dignity, and hope. The $900 cost of the 3-year apprenticeship is made possible entirely through donor support. Rebecca also shares her dream for creating a safe boarding school for rescued girls that provides not only education and practical skills, but also holistic care and spiritual healing. They also celebrate the completion of a new well in a village where every family has trafficked a child—a tangible symbol of transformation and the living water of Jesus Christ. The episode closes with an invitation to listeners to seek their own spiritual refreshment through prayer, worship, and deeper dependence on God.
