Talking about JCC of Krakow with Jordi
I catch up with Jordi, a Washingtonian volunteer who served with JCC (Jewish Community Center) in Krakow, Poland in March 2023. JCC has had a presence in Krakow since 2008 providing support, care, and goods for people from all faiths. Currently the JCC in Krakow is serving Ukrainian refugees since the beginning of the war in 2022.

Lauren interviews Jeff, a businessman with a big heart for helping others, who went to Germany within 2 weeks of the start of the war in Ukraine, where he helped arriving Ukrainians with safe temporary housing. Jeff shares how his volunteering efforts have grown and evolved and how he came to set up non-profit Project Aid and Rescue to meet the changing needs of Ukrainians since the start of the war.
