Vote Your Conscience with Kevin Stolla

Kevin Stolla

Come on a journey with me to understand why we are stuck in a system that mostly benefits the politicians and big businesses. Voting your conscience is a way back to the power being in the hands of the people. With everyone picking one politician or another out of fear of the other side getting into power, be courageous and join me in voting for people that you would actually want to be our leaders. Voting your conscience can be implemented in elections at all levels of politics. It can also be used in day to day life. Every day you are casting votes for what companies and organizations you want to have more or less power in the future by using your dollars. Every time you spend money with a company, it is a vote for them to exist and have more power in the future. If you wouldn't want that company to have more power, simply don't hand over your hard earned purchasing power to them. This podcast is focused on the political system in the United States of America, but it's scope will reach much beyond politics. With the power of our country's government growing, it is reaching into our lives in ever increasing ways. I simply want that to stop. I want the power to be back in the people's hands as this country's founding was supposed to be. Come with me as we dissect why our country seems to be in a massive disconnect between the people and the government and what we can do about it.

$7 TRILLION ISN'T ENOUGH?! | Wealth Taxes, AI Taxes & Government Power

Episode 38: How Much Government Is Enough? Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren have proposed wealth taxes and even government ownership stakes in AI companies. Supporters argue these measures are necessary to combat wealth inequality and fund social programs. I disagree. In this episode, I explain why I believe the real threat to the average American isn't that billionaires have too much money—it's that the federal government already has too much power, spends too much money, and continues to expand regardless of the results. The federal government spends trillions of dollars every year, runs massive deficits, carries enormous debt, and still claims that the solution is more taxes and more control. If Washington can't balance the budget with the money it already collects, why should we believe it will become responsible with even more? I argue that the fight against wealth inequality should be fought on two fronts: • Fight government for lower taxes and less centralized power. • Fight employers and corporations for better pay and better treatment of workers. Government should not be the referee, the player, and the scorekeeper all at the same time. Topics discussed: Wealth taxes Taxing AI companies Federal spending and deficits The national debt The Federal Reserve Inflation The IRS and tax complexity Government power vs. individual freedom How much government spending is enough? Whether you agree or disagree, I invite you to think critically and vote your conscience. #VoteYourConscience #WealthTax #BernieSanders #ElizabethWarren #AITax #GovernmentSpending #NationalDebt #FederalReserve #TaxReform #Libertarian #EconomicFreedom #FiscalResponsibility #Politics #Podcast #KevinStolla
