The Idea Is What Made It Good, Everything Else Was Just Extra W/ Dave Swillum
E161:
Short episode talking on creation and the initial idea as the most important. If you have something holding you back from releasing something think back to some of your favorite songs, vacations, and other memories. Was it that their production and set up was perfect that made them impactful to you and amazing? The best things are the things that exist and the best initial spark that’s captured so make sure you release it. In this episode we speak through the process and getting action behind it.
In This Episode We Cover
The best ideas are the idea not the production
Why am I hesitating ?
No one actually knows what they are doing
Does this matter to stop this from being released?
Quotes
“Things are as good as the things that are made for how they are relative to the people of the time.” - Host Dave Swillum

Customer Reviews
How has it taken me so long to write a review?!
Ika-rumba! Ok, maybe I already have but even if I have, I love this podcast! I love how honest Dave is in sharing about the ins and outs and ups and downs of entrepreneurship and life. AND the very tangible takeaways and reflection points. Keep the solocasts coming in the New Year! Those are a favorite!
Live creatively
I love listening to Dave’s perspective and ideas about how to live on your creativity. While I’m not in the position to leave my full time job and survive on my own creativity, I feel like every episode gives me something to think on and gets me one step closer. The interviews with entrepreneurs are great, and the solo episodes are always spot on. This is THE podcast to listen to if you have ever felt like there is more to life than working for someone else and need to embrace your own creativity.
Great motivational podcast
I honestly love listening to this podcast. I was looking for something motivational and thought provoking that I can listen to before work and this is it! Some things are thoughts I didn’t even know I was struggling with. This really helps with getting my thoughts together and helping me decide what thoughts and practices I want to continue and which ones I want to stop. Thank you!
