In this episode, I share what Wally’s World is all about. Why I’ve created it, what you can expect, and why I believe it’s more important than ever to have honest, grounded conversations, especially at a time when Australians are feeling pressure from cost of living, housing, mental health challenges, and global uncertainty. I also reflect on my own journey, from working as a chippie and running a small business, to becoming a Barrister and now serving in Federal Parliament for 10 years. That lived experience shapes how I see the world, and it’s exactly the perspective I want to bring into these conversations. This podcast will bring together people from all walks of life, from ambassadors and defence experts to business leaders and everyday Australians, because no one person has all the answers. Guided by my Four Pillars for Fisher, we’ll be talking about the issues that matter most, from infrastructure and mental health to the economy and national security.
