    "I wanna hold your hand..."Rock music and horror movies are often at times a great mixture. SPOILERS: That is not the case with the subject of this episode of the podcast. You may ask yourself after reading that, "How bad could it be?" Well, both of us turned the film off during our initial watches less than 15 minutes in.Oh, boy. Where do we start because this movie has everything and not in a good way. Sh*tty looking zombies. Bad rock music. Stupid townsfolk. Evil dwarves. A werewolf grandma. And if that wasn't dumb enough, Adolf and his evil group attempt to make a comeback.The things we sit and watch for your entertainment. Well, hopefully you're entertained with our reviews because this film (and that is being said VERY loosely), has zero entertainment value.Wish us luck as we contemplate ever considering an idea from Shelley ever again. Sigh... It's Episode 17 of "Watch WHAT, now?" and we're discussing Hard Rock Zombies, I guess.

    "Honey! C'mon over here, Sugar-buns. This machine just called me an a**hole!"There's a certain stigma attached to the majority of Stephen King horror movies: they're all terrible. Some are so bad they're good and some are unwatchable. The subject of this episode has a reputation for both and we'll decide which opinion is more justified.Take one Brat Packer, add Lisa Simpson, mix in a handful of other "interesting" characters, and then dump them at a truck stop that is under attack by a bunch of automobiles and other machines that have come to life and you'll end up with Maximum Overdrive.Based on his own short story "Trucks," Stephen King decided to go from the writer's room to the director's chair for this one and (be it good or bad) brought his alcoholism and cocaine addiction along with him. The man was so drunk and coked out of his mind that he doesn't remember much of the experience and hasn't directed a movie since. Sounds perfect for this podcast, doesn't it?So come on down to The Dixie Boy with us. It'll be a memorable time for sure.

I DON'T KNOW where I'm located, just get me the police, there's a... there's a... just get me the police, PLEASE?"We all have moments that may traumatize us and that could include watching certain movies at certain ages. Melissa remembers watching Trilogy of Terror on television at three years old and has been afraid to revisit it...until now. When this movie is brought up in discussion, the subject matter is always about how terrifying the Zuni Fetish Doll is in the final story. But what about the other two tales in this anthology? Do they hold up to the final chapter with the doll? Are they a good enough hook to keep the viewer interested? What year did this movie really come out? And will Melissa be able to sleep at night after facing her fear of seeing "that f**king doll" one more time? All that and more will be discussed in Episode 15!

    "Nathan, that was no f**kin' bear.." Before Jennifer Aniston was busy hanging at the Central Perk, she was in North Dakota fighting an evil little Irish imp that just wanted his gold back. Well, we all got to start somewhere. Oh, boy. Lots to unpack with this one. One host understands how goofy the premise is and kind of allows it to unfold. The other doesn't care and hates it from beginning to end. From awful child acting and it being way more comedy than horror, to using children's toys as weapons and the director's obsession with showing off what brand of footwear the characters are wearing, there isn't a question that isn't asked. But hey. At least when it became Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote, even the most upset host of the show admitted to laughing. We guess there's that.

    Episode 12: My Bloody Valentine (1981)

    "Roses are red, violets are blue, one is dead, and so are you." When it comes to Valentine's Day and horror movies, 99 percent of the time, My Bloody Valentine is brought up. The legend of psychotic miner Harry Warden is huge in the horror community and we're going to find out why.The film has some good things going for it: a creepy legend concerning the killer, a gory calling card from said killer, and some creative kills. But...there's also characters that are called kids when they're pushing 40 or older, lots of scenes that lead to nothing, and an ending that at least left one of our hosts shaking their head in disappointment. Is it worth the praise it's gotten over the decades or is it just another Hallmark holiday? And how many references to Carrie does this movie try to throw at you? Avoid the Valentine's Day dance and find out!

The fame, fortune, and fans were something that would be welcome to a successful rock and roll band. However, it's a little different concerning Spinal Tap. Join us and our special guest Neil Preston as we talk about this little band's fall from grace. From props not working on stage to concerts being cancelled, Spinal Tap continues to push through it all, even when being second billed to a puppet show. Neil has worked nearly his entire life as a photographer for various rock and roll bands and he gives us some insider information on just how accurate some of these situations may be when it comes to life on the road. Make sure your amps are turned up to 11 and then shove an aluminum foil wrapped cucumber down the front of your pants because we're discussing This is Spinal Tap!

    "Death has come to your little town, Sheriff. Now, you can either ignore it, or you can help me to stop it."In 1978, John Carpenter directed a very small independent film known as "Halloween." With a tiny budget, a screenplay written in three weeks, and lots of unknown actors as actresses at the time, it relied on word of mouth to become successful. Successful is an understatement. Giving birth to Jamie Lee Curtis' movie career and starting a successful franchise, no one expected Halloween to blow up as much as it has after 40 plus years. But the man in the scary William Shatner mask known as Michael Myers proved to be the little engine that could, spawning a total of 13 films (which include a remake and its own sequel).It's one of the most popular horror movies of all time and for Episode 10, it was chosen for us through a poll and well, here we are. Eric has seen it dozens of times. Melissa saw it once when she was very young and remembers almost nothing. How will this horror classic stack up? Grab a some Halloween candy, light up that jack-o'-lantern, and find out!
