EP 10 - Heather Christie and Mind Body Music Ventures

EP 10 - Heather Christie and Mind Body Music Ventures

I really enjoyed this authentic convo with Santa Cruz, CA native, Heather Christie. She is a cutting-edge human, wife, mama, facilitator, teacher and artist that gives herself permission to explore wherever her artistic inspiration takes her. Daughter of Deadheads, she was inspired by the uplifting, trancey vibe that the psychedelic jam music and community imprinted on her. She has a genre-shifting attitude that makes her embodied, “Livetronica” brand and performances original, accesible and dynamic.

On the podcast, we dug into her big “why” behind art and we also cover the more recent development of moving out of the fear of having to either choose music or motherhood to her current, “both/and” mentality. Via her music, Möonbabe Records and Mind Body Music ventures, she is rewriting the “Womanual” of navigating music and motherhood at the same time.

    Some career highlights:

    2016 American Idol contestant
Founder of several independent music acts, such as Silk Drop, Honeywild, Sirens of Soul and Feral Fauna, the latter of which earned international recognition and millions of streams with their single, "Tincture."
Founder of motherhood-focused record label, Möonbabe Records
Founder of Mind Body Music, a "holistic music school" with the focus of teaching female artists how to navigate the independent music industry

EP7 - Janax Pacha is Full of Life!

EP7 - Janax Pacha is Full of Life!

Janax Pacha is Full of Life!

Gabriel Epstein, aka Janax Pacha, was born in Argentina in 1990. He is a multi-instrumentalist music producer focused on the fusion of electronic music with ethnic and tribal instruments. His travels through different cultures and his connection with shamanism is fully present and is the essence of his music.

I was delighted to experience Gabriel's refreshing honesty, humor and his uplifting perspective on music and life. He is grateful for so much, even human traumas and his own near death experience.

    On this episode we discuss:

How his artist name, Janax Pacha, is a state of beautiful being that anyone can tune into - a kind of community flow state that allows for an experience of paradise
His music and his colorful and exciting evolution as a musician
The common artist dream of fame, money and “making it”
How nourishing, transformative and joyful "conscious" or "spiritual" events can be: events such ecstatic dances, retreats, concerts and festivals
Remembering simplicity, establishing a feminine/masculine work/life balance and an easeful connection to nature

EP5 - Andrew Sealy, Yoga and His Love of Life

EP5 - Andrew Sealy, Yoga and His Love of Life

Andrew Sealy, Yoga and His Love of Life... Injoy this very inspiring convo!

May you feel as uplifted as I did after hearing what this Acro-Yogi and entrepreneur had to share. Overall, he states that we’re living during urgent times, community connection is essential to well-being and that it is important to trust the passion of your heart and follow it. You will enjoy his answer to the question, “Is there such a thing as a fully realized or fully vital human being?” 🫘

On this episode we went deep into his life, hearing about his daily rituals (that have him living a life of what I would describe as, “organized joy”). He also shares about some of his current projects: 200hr yoga certification retreats, developing a cacao farm and online Yoga certifications.

    In this episode we discuss:

The reasons he chose to be Plant Based
How a soccer ankle injury led to a life of yoga and agro-yoga
How 100days of Bikram yoga changed his life for the better: as an athlete, becoming less reactive more proactive, better relationships and deeper awareness
    Regimented, Habitual Schedule
Gantt Sheet: track everything you do in 24hrs. Optimizing time and look where you are not free. Fill schedule with activities that Nourish the Soul and Heart
Clarity beyond indoctrination: embody the “Clear Self” or Samadhi. Cleanse self of that which causes suffering
Earth is a testing ground where you transcend illusion delusion, confusion and maya.
    Communal Ascension
How our Natural state can emanate an Innate Joy 🧬

We conclude our chat with his Big Break story and how it led him to start living life from a place of “ATTRACTING” rather than “reaching for.” Life isn’t happening to you it can be happening for you!!
