    God's Design for Men and Women // Genesis 1:27, Genesis 2:15-18 // Bobby Gourley

    What happens when the design of something is ignored? Eventually, the system stops working.Genesis tells us that men and women were not created randomly or interchangeably. From the beginning, God formed humanity in His image — equal in worth but distinct in design. When those designs work together, life flourishes. When they are ignored, the results ripple through families, communities, and culture.In this message from Genesis 1:27 and Genesis 2:15–18, we explore God’s design for men and women and the purpose behind those differences. You were intentionally crafted with 'studs and spaces' - unique gifts, experiences, and needs that perfectly connect with others to build something beautiful for His kingdom. When we try to live our faith in isolation, we're fighting against God's very design for our lives. We become like that single LEGO block - complete in ourselves, but unable to fulfill our true purpose. Connection isn't just nice to have; it's essential to who God created us to be. Think about the relationships in your life right now. Are you truly connected, or are you just existing alongside others? There's a difference between being in the same room and being genuinely linked together in purpose and love. God has placed specific people in your path - not by accident, but by design. Your unique shape is meant to connect with theirs, creating something stronger and more beautiful than either of you could build alone. Today, consider how God might be calling you to move from isolation to intentional connection.
