One of the things that nothing in life prepares you for is parenting. We all have trauma that, whether subconscious or not can inform how we parent. In this episode I name that... and talk about some of the why and how I try to raise my children in spite of my own trauma to hopefully raise children that will be whole happy and love those around them in a way that seeks to move others intentionally. Levie also makes an appearance at the end lol

A welcome addition.
There’s something about Sam’s voice that puts me at ease. That’s the first thing that struck me as I listened to episode 1. I could listen him read the phone book. Calming voice aside, I’m just so pumped that he has his own Pod now. Sam’s wisdom and perspective on life and faith is refreshing, and in this first episode he dives straight into a weighty topic with such grace and ease. I learned from him as he shared his heart, and I can’t wait for episode 2. Sam’s got great things to say, and we gon’ hear about it! So get ready!
