Moving Out of OUR Comfort Zone for Christ - Youth Sermon 9/24/23
Today in the youth sermon, something was asked all individuals to do.
What was it?
How does it relate to Christ and the Fishermen and their nets that we hear in the Gospel Passage today?
The Fishermen Listening to Christ and Our Deep Waters - Main Sermon 9/24/23
We here in the Gospel Passage today how the fishermen toiled all night (which is the proper timeframe to catch fish) and caught nothing. Our Lord directed Peter to go out to the deep water and boom... he caught so much that they needed a second boat!
What does this say to us today?
What are the deep waters in our modern-day life?
A GREAT Love Story - Main Sermon 9/10/23

This is because no one living in this world is perfect and does everything right.
So what can we do? Listen...
Polishing our Faith Like a Solider Polished Their Shields - Main Sermon 8/27/23
In the Epistle Reading today we hear St. Paul talking about putting on armor like a soldier and everything they wore offered a form of protection included their shields. Roman soldier shields were very large (see pic). What did a soldier have to do EVERYDAY to their shield? What is our shield that we have as Orthodox Christians and what do we need to do EVERYDAY?
Faith of a Mustard Seed - Main Sermon 8/13/23
We have heard about having the faith of a mustard seed, St. Ambrose says "the mustard see is indeed very plain, and of little value, but if bruised or crushed it shows for its power. So faith seems a simple thing, but if it is bruised by its enemies it gives us forth of its power"
Am I able to have the faith of a mustard seed? Listen...
