Yikes

Listened to the episode with Ali where she put the host “in her place” about acceptable questions to ask LGBT folks and it was super uncomfortable. The fact that the host felt the need to consistently repeat the phrase “put me in my place” about it over an over was super uncomfortable. Frankly, it didn’t seem like the host understood what was so cringeworthy about it in the first place. Wanted this show to be fun, but its mostly ignorant and uncomfortable. The questions aren’t even that compelling.

Earlier episodes are the best

I love this podcast and I’m still a subscriber, but it’s getting pretty boring and it’s bumming me out! One of my favorite episodes is with her old college roommate, because Lindsey is raw and funny and relatable. Now a days she just ends up being an interviewer and there’s less of a flow in conversation. I still find it interesting, and it’s still worth a listen!

Favorite podcast of them ALL

I listen to a handful of dating/relationship/life podcasts and We Met at ACME is by far my favorite and most educational. Lindsey asks questions that have a bit more depth to them and they cover any topic you could possibly think of. Overall, a fantastic podcast.
