We (Ryan & Amber) run a video production business and sometimes have conversations where one of us says: "we should be recording this." Join us, usually mid-conversation, while we explore things like late diagnosed neurodivergence, consciousness, physics, philosophy, art and more.     Epidemic? Or Just Consequences?

    "...and now men are mad that they have to sleep in the bed they made because they're alone in it." "Sex has become a commodity you have to use another person's body to get." This time, we got impassioned about the state of our society as it pertains to the capitalistic, patriarchal standards that have been set, and how they affect both men and women. We had grand plans to record our responses to a different podcast that was sent to Amber a few days prior. However, we only got about 8 minutes in to the 2.5 hour video and spent this entire recording debriefing what was said during those 8 minutes, along with what Amber remembered from the first half (since that's all she could stand to listen to). Plans may have been thwarted since we will not be subjecting our nervous systems to the rest of that video, but what we got here is still important. Get angry with us. You're welcome.     The Philosophy Problem – Legacy, Power, and the Ideas That Endure

    In this episode, we dig into the complicated question of philosophical legacy. When a thinker contributes both brilliance and deeply flawed ideas, how do we evaluate their work (i.e. Immanuel Kant was racist af, y'all. Like, what do we even do with that? And WHY DID NO ONE TELL US THIS???)? *ahem* We explore how history curates and preserves knowledge, why some ideas survive while others fade, and whether so-called 'cancellation' actually achieves anything.     You Already Have Enough XP

    Last season was largely about identity. This season we're going to try (as much as our ADHD brains will allow) to discuss how those identities interact with others... in other words, relationships. We're starting off strong with this one by exploring our relationships with video games (trust me, it will make sense), parents, significant others, and society in general. We chat about the limitations of language and the nuances of human connection. Additionally, we analyze how people react not just to what is done, but to what those actions say about who someone is—and, in some cases, what those actions imply about their perception of others.
