I love weather and talking about it. Living in Southern California, we don’t get much weather at all. So the fact that you guys decided to do this podcast is just awesome! It totally helps me geek out on weather! You guys are really interesting and you hit on topics I wouldn’t have thought about! This podcast makes me so happy! Thanks for coming up with it!

I've been meaning to write this review for a while now, but I am a long time listener and loving every minute of it!! WeatherHype strikes a delicate balance between weather information, the human side of weather, and has humor for days - it definitely has something for everybody! Castle and Minh also offer great advice - I was so thankful for their help. So, if you have any academic or personal questions, you should definitely email Castle and Minh immediately!! P.S. That project I told you about is going great! Keep up the fantastic work guys!!

I love Weatherhype, I definitely learn more from them than through any other medium. They makes weather news and learning fun. Minh and Castle are very funny, basically weather comedians.

I listen to quite a few weather podcasts, and Weather Hype is quickly becoming my fave! Castle and Minh are great hosts who discuss current & relevant weather topics in a way that is educational but not too technical for those with non-weather backgrounds. I also really enjoy the fun banter between them! Listening to their podcasts really makes me feel like I'm involved in a chat about weather and current events with old friends. Join the hype y'all!

As someone who works everyday at messaging climate impacts and coastal resilience efforts to the public, I appreciate listening and learning ways that Minh and Castle talk about communicating hard science to the general public. In the age of social media, it's super important how you message and connect to the general public, and this podcast is great at combining the social science with the technical side of meteorology. Keep up the great work, guys! And GET HYPED!

I’m the kind of chick who often freaks out whenever there is a severe weather warning, weather outbreak, or any other kind of major announcement involving the weather. I love this podcast because it addresses how meteorologists can constantly be altering the way they communicate in order to accurately and effectively prepare the public for potentially dangerous situations. Minh and Castle do an excellent job at educating their listeners about weather lingo. In just 4 episodes, I’ve learned so much about various types of weather announcements in regards to what they really mean, how they came to be that way, and how the weather community has advanced in their scientific and psychosocial understanding of the formation of weather and how it affects it’s consumers (aka everyone). I appreciate all of their random weather related facts and life stories, like how storms are named and how history can explain why people have such false assumptions about the weather. They also keep it amusing by bringing in their own personal stories about funny life things that happen to them. It’s nice that they can speak intelligently but also simply enough for all us non-weather peeps. I can tell these two are constantly thirsting for knowledge and that is a special passion to carry… I’ll be a lifetime listener! Keep up the good work!
