Love Dave's podcast, he tells it to you straight and doesn't hype things up like some of the news channels do.

Dave is very informative. He presents the forecast without any unnecessary hype. He tells you what to expect and explains why. I’ve found him to be extremely accurate. This is my go to podcast for weather especially when a storm is potentially coming to Boston. I really enjoy listening to him.

Epstein delivers forecasts with nuance and realism. He’s not trying to panic you so that you’ll turn on the 11pm forecast, he’s giving even-handed predictions and lets you know the gamut of what could happen, rather than hiding the uncertainty in forecasting. Epstein’s life-long knowledge of the region shows in the accuracy of his forecasts. He studies the numbers and models but also adds in that deep knowledge of the place he’s lived most of his life to help him temper the hunches and disagreements among models. Meteorology is an art AND a science, and Epstein does the art part better than most.

Dave delivers all the weather info you need for the day plus throws in little lessons about meteorology and helpful hints of things to do around your house or garden based on the weather.
