    Gashed in the Gem State

    In their final road game of the season, the Wildcat football team came up just a bit short against a resurgent Idaho team hunting for a seed in this year's playoffs. We'll talk about how things went down before turning our attention to the final game of the season at the Lizzy against Cal Poly this Saturday. Then, we recap the week in volleyball, including the final homestand against NAU and Northern Colorado on Senior Day before turning our attention to Green Team Week on the road. The Wildcats will take on Portland State on Thursday and end the season in Sacramento on Saturday with big conference tournament seeding implications on the line.     Train Bell Tragedy

    It was a sad day in Ogden on Saturday, when Idaho State won on Wildcat turf for the first time in 40 years. And with that win, they also took home the Train Bell Trophy, new re-introduced after 50 years in the Weber State Archives. We'll break down the game before looking ahead to this week's road matchup against the Idaho Vandals in Moscow. Then, we recap a triumphant win over the Stripes at Club Swenson on Friday night before turning our attention to the final pair of home games for the season against Northern Arizona and hated rival Northern Colorado. Finally, we ask our panel to play Tired and Wired. We want to know what they think is tired and what is absolutely wired in the world of Weber State sports.     The Wildcat FB team had a rough go up in Flagstaff last weekend. We'll break down those rough first few minutes of the game and the potential bright spots from everything after. Afterward, we focus in on the Stripes of Idaho State to see what they might bring to the O this weekend in the revival of the Train Bell Trophy matchup. We take a look at what happened and what it might mean has the DubCats hit the road to take on a green team this weekend: Sac State. Then, we turn our attention to the tough volleyball fight we had in Pocatello on Friday night before we look ahead to this week's road trip to Moscow and Cheney to face the Vandals and the Eagles.
