    Board | te Poari Chief Professional Advisor Damon Newrick is joined by a panel of practitioners and experts to explore and discuss the advantages and disadvantages, as well as challenges, pitfalls, and things to consider and watch out for, when thinking about using Digital Health Tools including the use of artificial intelligence. Dr. Gloria Paterson is the Professional Lead for Physiotherapy at Health NZ – Te Toka Tumai | Auckland. Born in Canada, she holds a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from New York University, an Honours Bachelor of Science (HBSc) in Kinesiology and Biology from Western University (London, Ontario) and has recently completed the requirements for a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Health at the University of Auckland. With over 20 years’ working in both clinical and leadership roles at large teaching hospitals around the world she has a wide range of experience including quality assurance and clinical governance and is passionate about using digital health options to improve access to healthcare. Annalees Jones is the Head of Operations Quality at Body In Motion, an allied health rehabilitation company delivering a range of ACC, Public and Insurer‐funded services across Te Manawataki. With a background in physiotherapy and extensive experience in service performance and design, clinical governance, and digital transformation, Annalees has a particular interest in how digital health tools can be used responsibly and effectively in clinical practice. Matthew Dick is the Director of Clinics and Senior Physiotherapist at the School of Physiotherapy. He leads a dedicated team committed to delivering high‐quality care to the community while fostering clinical training for physiotherapy students. Under his guidance, the student clinics maintain a balance between rigorous physiotherapy standards and exposure to contemporary practices, including the integration of Digital Health innovations. Dr Karaitiana Taiuru is one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s leading voices in digital technology ethics and Māori data sovereignty. With over 30 years in the sector and deep expertise in integrating mātauranga Māori with emerging technologies, Dr Taiuru brings a unique perspective on how AI impacts not just innovation, but identity, sovereignty, and tino rangatiratanga in the digital realm.
